Program studies are almost the same in all of the European countries with minor differences, depending on each country’s educational and health system. Undergraduate studies lead to the qualification of BSc. and after that the physiotherapist graduates can attend a postgraduate course. Physiotherapy courses in Cyprus are offered since 2008.
 
People interested in physiotherapy studied must keep in mind the following issues:
 
The University and program of studies chosen must lead to the qualification of physiotherapist or in any translation which is recognized by the professional association of the country of studies, which is a member of W.C.P.T (World Confederation for Physical Therapy). If you have any please contact SEFF or Pancyprian Physiotherapy Association.
 
More information on the registry requirements for the Cyprus Physiotherapy Achieve can be found on the Physiotherapists Registry Law, 140/1989 – 2005.
 
According to some information sources regarding professions, it is indicated that the prospects of the profession appear negative due to the large number of graduate physiotherapists and limited demand from the public and private sectors.
